What online banking systems are being enhanced?

The following Mechanics Bank online banking systems are being updated:

• Personal Online Banking


• Basic Business Banking


• Treasury Management Direct


• Advanced Business Banking

When are these online banking enhancements taking place? Changes to these systems should be completed on November 13, 2008.

What changes are taking place with these online banking system enhancements? Each of these four online banking services is undergoing a design refresh to better reflect our new brand identity in preparation of the launch of our new website early next year. Additional features are also being added to Personal Online Banking and Basic Business Banking to provide improved navigation and functionality.

Will the way I log into these online banking applications change? No. You will still log into online banking the same way you do today through www.mechanicsbank.com or www.mechbank.com.

Will My Access ID, Password, or Online Security change with these updates? No. Your Access ID, Passwords, and security settings will remain the same.

Which browsers will online banking systems support? Our online banking systems continue to support the most common internet browsers, including Google Chrome and Apple Safari. Please visit our Browser Support page to see a current listing of supported browsers.

Who do I contact if I have questions about these enhancements or have difficulty logging in? If you have difficulty logging in or have questions about the changes, please contact our Customer Service team at (800) 797-6324.

How can I submit comments or suggestions regarding the changes to online banking? You may submit comments or suggestions by emailing us at info@mechbank.com.

Will there be more changes to mechanicsbank.com in the future? We are continually looking at providing you with the best possible website and online banking experience. We expect to make significant updates to the website early next year and are looking at additional enhancements for personal and business online banking.
